Extras PRO: Operations

Through these extra operational activities we'll coordinate the development of two key areas often part of the sale strategy of a release. These extras can be added according to your needs to the core Release Campaign service.

Vinyl, CD or Merch Manufacturing
  • Determine ideal formats, packaging and colors with you and your designer
  • Gather quotes, calculate unit costs and breakeven point
  • Set dealer and selling prices
  • Evaluate test pressings
  • Establish stock allocation for retail, promo and touring
  • Generate download codes via Bandcamp
  • Overall coordination with existing graphic designer and manufacturer
Online Store Creation
  • Store set up via Bandcamp
  • Store set up via artist website (possible depending on website builder used)
  • Upload of releases and rendering images
  • Payment solution set up
  • Overall coordination with existing graphic and/or web designer
When are the Extra PRO Operation services useful?

We advise creation of physical products only if an artist has already a certain fan base, who are willing to support the music. We don't want any artist to have to store boxes of unsold vinyl or merch in their basements. These extra services are therefore useful to those artists with a solid base, who are inexperienced with music manufacturing, or wish to delegate the research, planning and logistics of the process.

How much does it cost?

The price is subject to the extra picked and the format to manufacture. We'll gladly send you a quote.

What's needed to get started

A planned and soon to be launched Release Campaign (our core service). These extras are add ons. For manufacturing we'll also need final creative direction of the project with artwork and packaging design with all credits, barcodes and declaration of your mechanical license from Suisa.

What's not included

Artwork and packaging design, the actual costs of manufacturing your items, e-com platform fees, barcodes, mechanical license, delivery and import costs, VAT, transaction costs and subscriptions to third party service providers.
